Good evening, everyone!
“Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.”

Well, at the risk of angering dear old Eleanor (never a good idea) I want to back off of the high-flying intellectualism of my inaugural post and make some introductions. Below are the folks whose posts will be gracing this blog for the foreseeable future. They also happen to be (some of) the folks who make Obama Works run, so if they, say, don’t respond to your comments right away, cut them some slack! Good afternoon, folks.
You may have noticed that over the past day or so we’ve had some, well, issues with our website. That is to say: it has been going down.

But rest assured: even if we switch hosts, we’re not going anywhere. No pesky failing hard drives can stand in our way for long!
‘Till soon,
Paul.

And since Obama Works is, fundamentally, about community, it seemed disingenuous–or, at least, silly!–to not have a community online. So, this post marks the beginning of our attempt to create one.
The past month has been a long series of beginnings for us. We began our first events, we got our first press, and we were on MTV for the first time. (Why couldn’t that have happened in middle school?!) We (more…)
